Overexpression of Janus kinase 2 protein in extramammary Paget’s disease

چکیده
Abstract Extramammary Paget’s disease is a rare malignant tumor of the skin that occurs primarily in genitocrural region. Although prognosis extramammary with distant metastasis poor, an effective therapy has not been established. Because Janus kinase 2 attracted attention as therapeutic target several cancers, we investigated expression protein and relationship between its level clinical significance 53 patients our hospital. Immunohistochemistry showed most tissues were positive for (50/53, 94.3%), immunostaining intensity was correlated degree invasiveness, lymph node metastasis. Based on these findings, may be promising disease.

Kinase activity and subcellular distribution of a chimeric green fluorescent protein-tagged Janus kinase 2.
Janus kinase 2 (JAK2) is an essential intracellular signal transducer for numerous cytokines and hormones. To examine how JAK2 structural modifications can affect cellular physiology, we created expression vectors for chimeric proteins containing an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) fused to rat JAK2 (EGFP/rJAK2), and a kinase-inactive variant, EGFP/rJAK2(K882E). The properties of EGFP/...

BACKGROUND Pagets disease of the nipple presents as an eczematous lesion, occurs in 1 - 4% of all female breast carcinoma cases and is invariably associated with underlying malignancy either overt or occult. The majority of these cases are invasive disease although 40-45% are associated with DCIS. CASE PRESENTATION A 39 year old lady presented to our unit with a palpable lump in the right bre...
متن کاملThe Future of Janus Kinase Inhibitors in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, are disabling conditions characterised by chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. Current treatments are not universally effective or, in the case of therapeutic antibodies, are hampered by immune responses. Janus kinase inhibitors are orally delivered small molecules that target cytokine signall...
متن کاملJanus kinase 2: a critical target in chronic myelogenous leukemia.
The Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase is the causative factor in most chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) patients. We have shown that Bcr-Abl is associated with a cluster of signaling proteins, including Janus kinase (Jak) 2, growth factor receptor binding protein 2-associated binder (Gab) 2, Akt, and glycogen synthase kinase (GSK)-3beta. Treatment of CML cell lines and mouse Bcr-Abl+ 32D cells with eith...
